How to print welcome signs and table plans for your wedding

Where To Begin

To get started, you’ll need a file to print from. If you don’t have a design, we recommend searching on Canva or Etsy for an editable template that matches your needs.  Doing it this way avoids the dreaded wedding surcharge, with the templates being low cost and easy to customise.  All you need is a high quality digital file to download.  

1. Choose Your Options: Determine the number of foamboards you need (you might need a table plan and a welcome sign), then add them to your basket on our website.

2. Upload Your File: During checkout, you’ll be prompted to upload your file(s) and provide any special instructions or notes for your order.

3. Approval Process: We don’t print anything automatically. We’ll check your order and email you a PDF proof for you to approve. This will show the final layout and allow you to check for any mistakes.

4. Final Print: Once you approve your PDF proof, we’ll get started and email you once we’ve finished your order.

File Types

Our ideal file type is a PDF saved with ‘press quality’ settings, set up with crop marks and 3mm bleed. This allows us to print edge-to-edge. For images, an RGB TIFF or maximum quality JPEG works well.  We have an artwork guide here which is quite helpful.

If you’re unsure about the quality of your file, zoom in on screen to get a preview of how it will print out as a poster. We also accept Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher files and can resize your file for you.

Specifications

Foamboard is an ultra-light plastic material with a 5mm foam core, suitable for indoor use only.

Unlike other companies, we laminate all our foamboard prints as standard, giving them extra protection, durability, and a more premium look. 

• Gloss Lamination: Shiny and wipe clean, enhances colors.

• Matt Lamination: Non-reflective, slightly dulls colors for a more subtle finish, not suitable for dry wipe markers.

• A1: 841 x 594 mm / 23.4 x 33.1 inch

• A2: 594 x 420 mm / 16.5 x 23.4 inch

• A3: 420 x 297 mm / 11.7 x 16.5 inch

• A4: 297 x 210 mm / 8.3 x 11.7 inch

Turnaround

Production time is typically 1 day once you have approved a PDF proof. Delivery is typically 1 working day, but can vary depending on your location in the UK. Please note that we can’t deliver A1s—they’re available for collection only.
