What is NCR Paper?

NCR stands for No Carbon Required. It’s a special type of paper used for forms which makes multiple copies of what is written. Anything from 2-part up to 4-part NCR can be produced.

In the old days, you would use a carbon sheet in between 2 sheets of paper to write on, and the carbon would leave marks on the second sheet. NCR paper has a special coating on the paper which means that it marks itself when pressure is applied. This is a lot cleaner and less messy.

How It Works:

Submit Your File: We’ll need a file that we can print from.
Select Your Options: Prices are per design, so if you have two different forms, please make a separate order for each. Simply calculate the total number of pads you need and add any additional options.
Upload Your File: During checkout, you’ll be prompted to upload your file. If you require numbering, include a note with the starting number or any other instructions.
Approval Process: We don’t print anything automatically. We’ll review your order, ensure we understand it, and email you a PDF proof for approval. This proof shows the final layout as it will be printed, allowing you to verify and correct any mistakes.
Production and Delivery: Once you approve your PDF proof, we’ll begin production and notify you once your order has been dispatched.

Specifications and Features

50 Sets Per Pad: Each pad contains 50 sets (forms), glued on the top edge onto a backing board, and supplied with loose writing shields.
NCR Paper: Our carbonless NCR paper has a special coating that allows your writing to copy over to the sheet(s) underneath. This modern solution replaces the old carbon copy sheets of the past.
Multi-Part Forms: We offer 2-part NCR for duplicate forms, 3-part for triplicate forms, and 4-part for quadruplicate forms.
Sequential Numbering: We can print a unique number on each form. Just provide the starting number and placement during checkout.
Hole Punching: We offer 2 or 4 holes on the left long edge for easy filing.

File Types and Design Services

We accept most file types, including PDF, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, JPEG, and TIFF, and can resize your file as needed. Our preferred file type is a PDF saved with ‘press quality’ settings. If you only have a paper copy, you can post it to us, and we’ll scan it for free. If you don’t have a design, you can download our simple invoice template and edit it, or use our design service starting from £40 + VAT.

Turnaround Time

We aim to print and dispatch orders within 2-3 working days from the approval of your PDF proof.
